Will we EVER see Spring?

Yes, I know. February is still suppose to be such a cold month, but we are so ready for spring! We had another "winter storm" here last night (that means the ground was lightly covered with snow). This is the first year that I'm anxious for it all to melt and be over with forever. Kristen started her first official day of work after being trained for several days. She loves it. We had a second baby shower Sunday night and got so much stuff.

We can't thank God enough for the wonderful friends and family that have been so helpful to us as we prepare for our little one's coming. We are slowly seeing the nursery area come together! Slowly but surely.

so much to do, so little time . . .

   Hey everyone! It's been a while since our last posting.
   It's a GIRL! We are so very excited. Adelaide Love St. John will be here near the end of March. We have so much to do, but so little time!
   We had a great Thanksgiving! Kristen's family came down to visit (their first time visiting Alabama) for several days.
   Several weeks after thanksgiving I finished up my fall college semester with, still yet, a 4.0 GPA! Getting married in the middle of a semester and still being able to keep a 4.0 GPA means I can be proud of myself, right?
   Christmas was great. We got to visit with Kristen's parents for a couple of days in North Carolina.
   I started back to school the first week of January - taking classes at two colleges this semester. I love the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
   Last week, we made a trip to NC for Kristen's first baby shower! Adelaide now has WAY too many clothes (typical girl, right?). We have another baby shower coming up this Sunday.
   Well, there's so much more to write about, but we've got so many things yet to do in preparation for the little one! We'll update again soon!

Oh BABY.....

  As most of you already know, we were able to find out the gender of our baby yesterday. We also found out that it is healthy and weighs about 12oz. so we're a very happy daddy and mommy. It seems to be a hyper little thing because it kept moving its arms and hands around. I also feel it kicking alot lately which is really cool, but creepy at the same time.Guess it's goin to be like it's daddy. hehe Well, that's all I have to talk about for now.        just have to wait til Thanksgiving. =)

Where to Begin?

   Now that we're married, HAPPILY married, we've decided to create this blog so that our friends of great distances can know all that's happening in our lives. We have so much to write concerning the happenings right now in our lives. As everyone knows, Kristen and I are expecting our first little blessing. Kristen will be posting quite often (hopefully) as time goes on concerning the pregnancy and such.
   As of right now: Things are going great. I am still a full-time student, finishing up my 2-year degree, at a community college and getting ready to transfer to the University of Alabama at Birmingham for a bachelor's in Engineering. Kristen and I hold part-time jobs right now as I still have a hectic class schedule this semester and she has baby doctor appointments and such.
